March brings in Spring which means warmer weather is not far behind. It’s time to get the kids outside more and have fun! Unfortunately, the beginning of spring is often nastier weather-wise than winter. In Michigan, we get the best and worst of it. 35 degrees with rain is no fun and the lingering cold and flu season will snare your little ones so beware! However, there are a lot of things to do and we want to share some of those with you. As usual, Paradigm is busy with our own events.

Local Family and Kids Spring Events
There is plenty of fun, local spring events for families to enjoy!
Saturday Storytime (Waterford, MI)
The Waterford Library is constantly having storytime events for babies, toddlers, and young children. However, Saturday Storytime is a special event being held on March 4th for young children! If you cannot make the Saturday Storytime, you can see what other storytime events are going on this month.
Bunny Hop (Canton, MI)
Looking for something Easter related. On March 30th, a family dance will be hosted at the Summit on the Park Banquet Center from 6-8 pm. In addition to a fun dance party, the Easter Bunny will be there during the first hour for pictures. This event has pre-registration so make sure you sign up before it’s too late!
Egg Hunt (Waterford, MI)
On April 1st, the Huron Valley Chamber is hosting a children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Duck Lane Pines Park. This event is perfect for the entire family!
Bunny Munch (Canton, MI)
On April 3rd, a family event will be held at the Summit on the Park. This ticketed event will allow children to take photos with Easter Bunny while families create irresistible Easter treats. Make sure you sign up before tickets sell out!

Keep The Kids Dry and Warm
After an intense ice storm, it is clear that Spring is going to be temperamental this year. Spring can fool us, especially in the early weeks. That is why Paradigm wants all of our parents to prepare their children for the cold weather. Until the warmer season settles in, parents should make sure their children are brought to daycare with all their winter gear (coats, gloves, and boots). Depending on the weather, Paradigm will be taking out children outdoors. So, help us keep your child dry and warm until the sun begins to shine.
