Canton Winter Activities
The Summit on the Park Recreation Center has the Bartlett’s Kid Club. There will be a magic show by Magician Magic Joe. This will take place on January 18th, 2020. In addition, afterwards, open swim will be open, 2 adults per child. You will need to preregister for the event here. If you are a member of the Summit Recreation Center then the kids club is free.
Also, another fun event in Canton during the winter is the indoor farmers market. February 23, March 24, and April 26, and is held at the Summit on the Park, which is 46000 Summit Parkway, Canton. The hours are from 10 am to 2 pm each day. A great way to buy local fresh produce.
Waterford Winter Activities
The Waterford Township Public Library is always a host to some great family events. They have programs such as the winter reading club, and craft programs. There is also a Lego Club once a month. On Saturday, they host Storytime for kids ages 4 – 7. On January 18th the library will be hosting Snow In the Library. Kids can come and make snowflakes, edible snowman, and even snow to take home! Stop right in no registration required, the event is from 10:30 am – 11:30 am.
