If you want an indoor activity to do, gymnastics is a go-to. Gymnastics allow children to run off all of their energy and practice fun skills indoors during the winter. The Michigan Academy of Gymnastics further encourages winter activity by hosting Kids Night Out on select weekends. For a fun family activity, you should head over to the Escape Room Zone! There, you and your kids can collect clues and evidence to find your way out. Not only does this activity entertain all ages for several hours but it also keeps you inside and out of the cold!
If your kiddo is a fan of Legos, this is the place for you! Visit Legoland Discovery Center to build Lego masterpieces, enjoy fun rides, and even watch films in a 4D cinema.
The Detroit Skating Club allows your little one an introduction to ice skating through lessons or open skating in an indoor arena. Whether they just want to have some cold winter fun or join the Olympics one day, this is a good start!
